Foreword
I recently got a little witchcraft kit that had some mini crystals and lots of herbs and other stuff, some of the herbs I had never heard of or knew little about, and couldn't find much on here on some of them. I wanted to start with Nettle leaf as I just recently used it myself and like it's magickal Correspondences
Also known as Stinging Nettle.
It got this nickname because of the trichomes (like little hairs) it has mostly, along its backside of the leaf and down the stem. They peirce your skin when you touch it and relase irratants such as histamine and acetylcholine, it will give you a burning/ stinging sensation-sometimes cause a rash or swelling. So be very cautious when trying to grow or forage this plant.
*The dried version of it does not give a burning/stinging on your skin, I just used some in a spell the other day. Nothing happened.*

Which is why we're all here honestly
Protection & Cleansing
Nettle is good at dispeling and warding off negative energies, which makes it perfect for protecting and Cleansing
Resilience & Strength
Nettle is great for spells and rituals about personal growth and overcoming challenges- for when you just need a little bit of strength and Resilience to get through the day.
Healing
Nettle leaf has many healing properties and is used in healing spells that aide with small temporary ailments or overall health.
Nurturing & Connection
I very recently, personally, used Nettle leaf for this the other night in a spell sachet for my daughter to "help her stay connected to me and feel nurtured all night even if I'm not right next to her" as the "nurturing" part is mostly about the love you feel from a loving mother.
This can also be interpreted as good for spells with nurturing self worth, boundaries, and consent
Fertility and Love spells
In some traditions it was common to use Nettle to aide with encouraging the growth of a romantic relationship

Divination
Nettle was often used in divination by tossing a handful of dried Nettle into the air and watching them fall. They then interpret what message is there by the patterns they make when they land to get some insight in daily life.
A Little on its Folklore and mythology
In certain European Folklore, they say Nettle leaf protects against mischief caused by fairies and other supernatural beings.
It was often worn in charms or placed around the house for this protection.
