Are you truly practicing spirituality if you don’t treat yourself as a living, breathing altar?

Before I start, know this: I am not here to belittle anyone’s path.

Each thread of magic woven is sacred. Each current in the ocean of spirit is worthy.

But listen...

We—witches, healers, spiritualists, we spend so much of our essence on the craft, on the everyday mundane tasks that we forget

We are the altar. We are the ritual. We are the source.

Tell me, when was the last time you carved a sigil into a candle and lit it... Simply for you?

When you are making oils for your worshipped deity, do you to make oils to anoint yourself too?

You gather herbs for spell work

But have you brewed them into tea for your own healing?

Do you know their medicinal uses along with their safety measures and dosage for consumption ?

When was the last time you went on a walk, possibly in nature, for your mind, your breath, your being?

In my old practice, I was so busy researching banishments, protections, and practicing to be a death witch that I almost forgot what was the whole purpose…me.

I chose spirituality to find peace.

I began practicing witchcraft because I was hexed at thirteen

And I told myself i never wanna feel helpless like that again

This path? I chose it... for me.

So now, I ask you:

Why did you choose this path?

How are you weaving what you've learned into care for yourself?

I call myself a glamour witch because I enchant myself.

I am the spell. I am the altar.

I bathe in waters of healing, speak banishment and healing into steam.

I craft oils for love and allure... and I wear them for me.

I eat cleaner because I want to feel better

I buy jewels that have correspondences with the elements I feel drawn to
