What do you think your favorite part or section will be?
This ones kinda hard to answer bc I'm using an audio book to read this since I don't have the money to buy it, and that's the only option my library had..
I will try, though!
I think my favorite part will be learning about the histories of seiðr and how people practice it now and then.
I'm also reading it and taking notes (I will also do this with other books on Seiðr) as a devotional act to Freya.
What is something you think you will learn?
I think I will learn that Seiðr has more to it than I think. I've seen that as a theme with a topic in Paganism and witchcraft
What do you think will be the most useful?
I think learning about how to protect myself while practicing Seiðr will be the most useful, honestly. I know protection is usually one of the most important things to when doing anything, especially if you're new to it!

What changed?
I enjoyed learning about different ways of doing a rite. I did realize that this book is very advanced for my little knowledge on the subject, and I wanna now see if there's a more introductory book for it. I now know i really had no idea what Seiðr really is.
what surprised you?
I guess just learning what Seiðr actually entails. What she talked about in the book alot was doing different rites, sometimes like professionally, with a whole group which is know is not where im at so now I'm curious if it has to be done as a group or if it can be practiced alone?
what did you get right?
I did get right that the most useful thing I learned from it is protection techniques that can be used. There were so many different ones she listed and different things to do if something went wrong.
Final thoughts
Idk I liked the info I just had no idea what I was getting into, I feel like I need a more introductory/beginners book on Seiðr to fully wrap my head around it.
Hope you enjoyed!

The seidr I've read about but have nit delved into their beliefs and practices ...I only know little things that some books have had that I read but I will learn more about the fey and good neighbors...what I've gathered is that they are VERY fickle and TRICKY....best of luck to you 🤘
