It’s on days like this—days that feel especially scary—that I how little I seem to matter.

I’m reminded that I’m not anyone’s best friend.

I long for connection, for companionship…

Yet all I meet are cold stares and turned shoulders.

I know I’m not special.

I’ve accepted that.

But still—I wish I were.

I wish I could be someone’s reason to smile.

To lighten the mood.

To make laughter ripple through a room.

But I’m not a sunflower.

I’m not the fun one.

I know I’m not special.

But I just… really, really wish I was.

I also feel the same, especially here, the amount of cold shoulder and stares I get from here is something that made me raise my eyebrows. Without troubling anyone here I got the treatment from a few as if I am unwanted here. I came here just to make connections (friends only) and post my work.

But I have seen, you're at least loved by few good people, not like me. quantity doesn't matter when it comes to who loves you, it's quality that matters! :grin:
