Natsu is the goat of the iconic Fairy Tail series that we have all known and loved for years now. It is a classic about young wizards striving to become stronger and all while representing their infamous Fairy Tail guild along the way. Right out the fiery gate, I knew Natsu would be my favorite character. I’m drawn to characters with confidence and who I can relate to and Natsu was everything you’d want to see in a character. Natsu is loyal to his friends, never gives up or backs away from ANY fight. He’s a true warrior to the core. Very iral and I’m glad he has an audience that appeals to him. Natsu & #Gon and so on. The dynamic is nice. Natsu stands above all though.

Not too much he keeps it real in a hilarious way. Fairy Tail became one of my favorite animes because of Natsu. They don’t make characters like Natsu anymore and that’s why I’m here to appreciate him for his legendary status. Even before I knew what Fairy Tail was, I saw many people Cosplay as him on a regular basis when I’d go online or see at conventions. The popularity speaks for itself. Natsu The Beast :dragon:

The Fire That Sets Him Apart From The Rest :fire:

As stated before, Natsu is just that guy! I hate to be that guy to compare different anime characters but I’ll do it anyway for the sake of explaining. Natsu to me is better than #Blackclover :four_leaf_clover: easily! Both series co-relate in the aesthetics and themes of magic but their definitely is a clear distinction between the two nevertheless. Even with Asta having the ability to cancel out other wizards magic, I still think Natsu is just reckless and strong enough to take em down!

I’ve heard of this debate that’s been going on between them for awhile, so I thought I’d just give what I thought after seeing both series. Imagine getting a crossover movie or arc with those two? GENIUS. All the characters meeting each other to take on a greater evil. I’d be down for that 100%. What sets Natsu apart from Asta is that Natsu is just more likable to me. Both are relatable characters and have funny moments but Natsu just feels more organic if that makes any sense? Like I get Asta’s dad backstory but Natsu never really shed a tear or felt like anything was a burden on his back. Even dealing with the fact of not having his father for years upon years, Natsu still grew stronger without that. Also, I love how he represents his guild & guild mates more than anyone in the series. Natsu is just a perfected character.

Lucy Heartfilia & Natsu’s Dynamic 🜚

Might actually just be one of my favorite things about the series. #Lucy and Natsu made a great pair to me since the beginning, as it was teased throughout the show. Lucy’s ditziness followed by Natsu’s wild impatience, made for an entertaining and great dynamic. I loved seeing how they would bicker but when shit got real, they showed how they truly felt about each other and grew stronger because of it.

Fairy Tail has all these ships and endless possibilities but by far, Natsu and Lucy definitely turned out to be the best ones just because it felt the most genuine. Lucy kinda helped Natsu be more of a gentleman and mature as the series went on. Natsu was always a hot head (no pun intended :joy: ) and very reckless with everything he did but Lucy always seemed to make him different. Lucy made our boy show his comionate side lol. I don’t care what anyone says, Natsu and Lucy were meant to be endgame and I’m not even a big character shipper myself. I do ittedly love when it’s done smoothly though. Props to the Fairy Tail creator :clap: 🏼 Natsu knew how to rizz.

That right there is my favorite quote from Natsu and favorite quote in the ENTIRE series! It’s just so reassuring and dope to me. I say that from time to time in my everyday life and when I heard it on screen for the fire time, I was shook! They just don’t make iconic lines like this anymore. As you see Natsu’s back against the wall, he still keeps up faith and knows that giving up is never an option. So inspiring from him because it doesn’t feel cringe or corny. Both Natsu’s English and Japanese voice actors delivered that line with perfect skill and emotion. A real hero. What I love most about an anime is that I can feel inspired by a characters resolve. There no better feeling then wanting to root for them and later take what you learned from it. Natsu has never been a soft guy and that core of power made him a threat to all.

Loyalty and a badass mentality. My type of shit :fire: :fire: I wish I felt that same motivation and encouragement from main characters of this new era in anime. It just doesn’t feel the same, ya know? It’s not like the other characters are trash it’s just that it seems cliché nowadays. It should be normal to push pash limitations and tell it like it really is because that’s what makes us human the most. I Love how it’s shown through Natsu and he isn’t afraid to say whatever. The creative freedom that every character should have. Without the fear! :muscle: 🏻 :fire:

A Blazing Way To Conclude ༄

I’m glad I created this blog and found the inspiration to do so. Natsu is one of my favorite anime characters of all time and sometimes I feel he doesn’t get his just due when it comes to the greats of all time conversation. Fairy Tail may catch heat due to its extreme fan service and goofy antics but it’s an overall phenomenal series and won’t leave one my top favorites series of all time. I’m glad anime like this exists because we can look back and appreciate quality things and characters like Natsu.

At least in my opinion, I don’t see Natsu getting outdone or compared to any character because he’s a stand alone guy of his own. I stand by that 100%. Natsu deserves his credit for being an OG. We have many iconic and legendary anime characters like #Ichigo , but none of them are like Natsu! :boom: Maybe I’m a little biased because I love characters with flame powers as well :full_moon_with_face: but this guy is different than ANY other flame I’ve seen in anime. I recommend if you haven’t seen the Fairy Tail series, just please watch it. Give it a read on the manga too if that’s what you prefer. This anime is gold and when you get past the bullshit, you’ll see where I’m coming from with the characters.

Anime is so genius and I’m grateful to have found out about this world and continue to talk about my reactions and first opinions on it. I hope most of you feel the same way about anime as me and continue to show your iration for characters like Natsu Dragneeel. As we progress into the new age of anime now that our favorites are coming to an end, please appreciate what we had and what was done.
