You will need:
Orange candle (the color of friendship)
Crystal (recommend amethyst, lapis lazuli, quartz and/or rose quartz)
An altar pent (for crystal charging)
A small orange (a clementine or little cutie), peeled but not wedged
Optional - altar decorations that represent friendship (you can put the fragrant orange peels in a small bowl or plate on your altar)
This spell is intended for people who have moved away from home for school or work purposes, or are shy/introverted, and wish to make new friends.
If you wish to do this as a ritual, set up your ritual space in your usual way, use the spell as your working, and then return your ritual area to mundane space when you finish.
Before you begin, practice reading the words aloud so that they follow shortly from your lips. You can choose to change the words of wrote your own entirely.
Light your candle, then hold your hands over altar with the intent of charging the crystal and orange. Speak the spell aloud. Repeat the spell in increments of 3 until you feel that the energy has completed your purpose:
Games on the table
Not on the mind
Genuine hearts
I seek to find.
New friends come to me
Full of fun and maturity
As I do will
So mote it be
Eat the orange.
Carry the crystal with you in a purse, pocket or pouch, or wear it if the crystal is part of a piece of jewelry. You can keep the altar set up until you have made your new friends. You can relight the candle each evening, letting it burn for about 10 - 30 minutes, and leave the crystal on the altar overnight.
