What have I even been doing recently?

Forcing your wounds to close will make them bleed,even with stitches on.They will be soaked with your blood.Do apply some pressure, the blood may close, but it may open with that same pressure you used. It's preferably better if you apply pressure slowly, the blood will soon stop, and soon your injury would close.

Even if your wounds are fully and perfectly healed, you will always be scared of it being opened again.

It is a common occurrence, when someone learns too much, they lose it. Searching too much can destroy you, human mind is strong, yet weak.
