De’s Curator Application

The Application:

1. Name, pronouns, age, & timezone.

I go by a few names here on this amino, mainly de, or some of you may me as deroute, which I still go by! I use they/them pronouns and I am 21, a September baby, which makes a virgo. :virgo: Also I am from the UK, BST timezone.

2. Describe yourself & your connection to the community.

Virtual Space means so much to me, I have called this silly little place my virtual home for eight years now (which is kind of crazy to me)! I have always loved to interact with the community, write (including poetry), share my artwork, as well as roleplay—that being one of the initial reasons that I ed this community.

I am someone that loves to interact with others, hence why I gravitated towards committees! I was and still am apart of the ‘welcome waffles’, which is great as it allows me to meet new people and welcome all the newbies to vs. Furthermore, I used to help lead the Committee and was an active member of the Sunshine Committee! Bet those were a throwback. :’)

3. What is your availability?

Currently, I work, however I am able to check my messages from time to time at work so would be able to quickly respond to any moderation requests quite quickly! In addition to that, I would most certainly be able to increase my current hours, I’ve had a busy couple weeks, but I have more free time and flexibility for activity here so I could see my activity increasing to at least 500-600 minutes!

4. Share an idea for a project you’d like to work on.

1. Reviving old committees: committee, sunshine committee or maybe even creating a new one! I would love to maybe make a reading club committee or maybe even an art or roleplay one. I have so many ideas for clubs and committees my brain may explode from excitement.

2. As for events I would love to host a whole array of creative challenges. For instance, ‘monthly challenges’, a new creative challenge each month to help with community activity and creativity as a whole!

3. I would also love to host a big group roleplay, maybe something nostalgic like an apocalypse rp. Regardless of the rp, I feel like this would be a fantastic way to bring the community together.
