Yuzuru Hanyu is a two time consecutive Olympic gold medalist, and is considered by many as "the greatest of all time." He is an extremely hardworking individual, and has the attitude that there is always room for improvement. (Even after breaking 12 world records) He is such an inspirational figure, and has overcome many obstacles. In 2011, he was practicing when the Tohoku Earthquake hit, and was forced to remain is an evacuation center for several days. He performed in nearly 60 ice shows to raise money for Sendai, and donated part of the royalties from his autobiography. He even donated the winnings from the Pyeong Chang Olympics to Sendai, Japan as well. He has battled through injuries and challenges to arise as the champion in many cases, and is such an inspirational individual. He also uses his platform to bring positivity, and in ways that benefits others instead of being swallowed by overconfidence and fame.
