The colder months can have a large effect on our skin, it can irritate and dry it out. Especially if you have dry skin to begin with.
So I created a short list of tips that are helpful for most.
Please always and do your research and do what works best for your skin. Don’t do something just because someone said to.
I will also include photos of the products I like for each tip.
1. Mix coconut oil/black castor oil along with hyaluronic acid into your body lotion/body butter. This is great if you don’t like the sticky feeling of the oil straight on the skin. This way you still get the benefits but less sticky.

2. Mix hyaluronic acid in with your daily face moisturiser, once again this is basically just to avoid the sticky feeling but still get the Benefits.

3. Use a sheet mask daily, from what I know this is popular in Korea, this allows the skin to get a extra boost of moisture or hydration daily. From what I know this can sometimes help with things like acne. (But do your research anyway incase I am wrong). The photo I’ve added isn’t of a product I use but it’s just one I found that has a lot for a decent price.

4. Always apply spf, I know many people don’t realise that the UV rays are still around even in winter months. It can be just as strong as the summer months. So ALWAYS apply spf, preferably spf 50 but spf 30 can be okay.

5. If you don’t like re-applying a liquid spf while out there are alternatives such as spf spray/mist or a stick spf. There typically tend to be just as good.

6. Try using a thicker moisturiser cream, as these can help more with dryer skin, but lotions are still okay.
