:palm_tree: tropical rouge precure :palm_tree: episode 11 review

Tropical Club activities are back on in the eleventh episode of Tropical-Rouge! PreCure, and they have everyone playing in the sand.In this episode, the Tropical Club host an inter-club sand art contest for their school. Whilst they all have fun doing that, Laura has no choice but to hide away in the Aqua Pot.

The weather takes a turn as the contest continues, but Manatsu is determined to protect the sculptures.We get some interactions between the Tropical Club here, but I’d say Laura is the character to pay most attention to for this episode.

Well, well, looks like this episode heavily hinted that Laura will be the mid-season precure... unless I’m simply overthinking and Toei is playing with us but I have my doubts about this being the case.

Laura even had her own ending introduction as “Ocean blue”.

Sorry Yuriko, having you in the race was fun while it lasted. I’ll regret not having the “Red and blue combo” aesthetic between you and Asuka. I love the way they pair the really expressive Laura with the deadpan expression of Kururun. Somehow that never changing face is even better response to Laura's comments. Kururun sees all. Kururun knows all.

As I was watching this episode, I was wandering what would happen if it started raining. Turns out that’s exactly the way the episode went. Fortunately, Laura has an idea for protecting the sculptures.

~ A light rain will do nothing to a sculpture, even if it rains all day.

A heavy rain may lightly speckle the sculpture

Very heavy and prologed downpours (eg. 24 hour storm dropping 20mm of rain) can damage sculptures. This is a rare occurrence and the nature of the medium and the experience of the sculptor allows for repairs.

The sand sculpture is protected from wind and rain by a biodegradable windscreen which is sprayed onto the surface of the sculpture after carving is finished. In addition, the sculptor engineers the piece so that water drains from it easily

sorry for this babbling about rain and water but it was an idea of my friends to putting this in, but no long before Laura is trying to protecting the sculpture Less the enemy arrives.

The fight against this Zenzen Yarane-da is fairly amusing. Papaya and Flamingo got those jumping skills, and we discover something interesting about Summer. Well I'm not sure if it's really something too special or anything but it was really interesting to know for some of us, but it could be a precure thing since I'm very new to the precure community itself so it could be a precure thing of what has happened to cure summer. But I liked what she did at the battle. And this episode felt a bit off it really felt as some filler episode not sure why it did. My best friend even skipped this episode because it wasn't so special but to me it did because this has shown me and opened my eyes Laura would be the next precure give it some more time and you'll would be seeing it too someday.

The episode wraps up after the battle, with a winner chosen for the contest. Manatsu also promises Laura that they’ll do a club activity she can in with next time.

I really wonder if this episode could be the start of something important for Laura. As for potential new Cures go, Laura seems to be right at the top of the candidate list. I’ve seen some speculation about Yuriko, too, but not giving it to Laura would be kind of odd.

Whatever the case may be, this was a good episode.
