Beauty Within || If Tzuyu had a Solo Album

Happy (late) birthday Tzuyu!

Here’s a special birthday blog I’ve made for Twice’s maknae! Just imagine if she released a solo album :0

I now present you with the album ‘Beauty Within.’

The cover of the album is simple yet still has a lot going on. When people look further into detail of the meaning behind the cover, they find that there’s an explosion of beauty that was hidden until unleashed into the world. For the cover, the main color is purple. Purple is an elegant color that fits Tzuyu very well.

”Beauty will get you far in life.

But is that really true?

I thought there was only one

way to get through life.

That way was by being you.”

The intro will truly be a beauty. A soft melodic piano playing in the background as Tzuyu’s clear voice takes over. She speaks about how beauty is indeed a gift, but people tend to give the label ‘beautiful’ too much power.

”The flowers bloom each

day as I walk down this

flower path. Sometimes I

wonder if I’m also a

blooming flower. Something

so precious, so young.”

The song ‘Blooming Flower’ will highlight Tzuyu’s youth and her journey to blooming fully into adulthood. The nice strum of a guitar and an airy voice could give the illusion that you really are walking through a flower path.

”Put that crown on your

head. Your future is in your

hands. No one can compete

with the status of your royalty.”

The song ‘Royalty’ starts off as a ballroom ballad but soon turns into a fun pop groove. The song will be much like Ariana Grande’s song ‘No Tears Left to Cry’, a soft beginning and the rest of the song is a jam. The song talks about how people should go against the common stereotypes and be themselves.

”I squeeze myself into

this tight dress just to

look pretty on this small

screen. But is all of this

really worth that heart, heart?”

The original song ‘Likey’ talks about the girls’ insecurities with what they’re wearing and how they look to please other people. ‘Likey pt.2’ adds on to the original song but with a more questioning note. This song’s sound mimics that one of the original but with the sound of a piano carrying the melody. Sana is featured in this song as she carries much of the chorus in the original and her voice compliments Tzuyu’s very well.

”I used to be a small little

duckling in this huge pond.

But thanks to you I was able

to grow into a beautiful swan.”

The song ‘Duckling’ depicts Tzuyu as a a young bird much like how she is the youngest in Twice. In this song, she talks about how the Twice are helping her grow from a duckling to a swan.

”I’m in my prime at such a

young age. Still at that page

between childhood and

adulthood. I just hope I can

hold onto my youth a bit longer.”

In the song ‘Youth’, Tzuyu addresses Twice’s growing popularity and her success that she has gathered at such a young age, but even as she grows more successful she still hopes that she can enjoy her early years of life. This song has a jazz vibe to it.

”I’ll be your angel.

Just know that I didn’t

fall from heaven.”

This song talks about how Tzuyu is willing to be a role model to many even though she’s not perfect.

”I’d change myself, just for you.

I’d hide who I am, just for you.

As long as your happy, it’s all for you.”

The song ‘Just For You’ talks about how as an idol, Tzuyu would change herself to make sure that everyone’s view on her and her group is positive. The lyrics I just wrote for this song remind me a lot of BTS’s song ‘Fake Love’.

I am, if you look for the

real me.”

In this song, Tzuyu just lets her emotions shine through. She brings up the importance of showing people who you are and how it’s not healthy to hide yourself behind a different persona. The sound of a violin can be heard while Tzuyu’s strong voice takes over.
