It's a toss-up between Jokic and Giannis
Giannis is the best player in the NBA on the best team in the NBA.
That doesn't make him the MVP.
Cause even when you take him off the team, it's still a solid team with I'd say a top 10 defense in the league with brook,jrue and khris.
It's not just me saying it.
Mcgrady made a similar statement like that similar about the 2003 or 02' mvp on Shaq's podcast, saying he deserved 03' or 02' MVP cause Tim who won it even if tou take him off the team is a solid team with drob ageing in there. If you had taken Tracy off the magic, they would instantly be a Lottery team while with him there , leading the league in ppg and Doc coaching, led them to the 8th seed

Funny to see these results. Jokić has finally taken the lead for best player in the NBA according to HW, don’t think that was ever the case before this month. All it took was him not winning an MVP to do it

It’s still should be unanimously Giannis, one playoff loss which only happened because he was injured shouldn’t change that.
Giannis has been the best player in the world since 2020 and that won’t be changing anytime soon.
