The Paint Scheme That Never Raced Episode 77 - 2020 Skittles Dips Toyota

Kyle Busch came into the 2020 Nascar Cup Series season as the defending champion, and Mars was looking to capitalize on the marketing opportunity since Kyle Busch became a two-time NCS champion. Mars wanted to capitalize on the marketing opportunity with Skittles as Joe Gibbs Racing announced that Skittles would run a special paint scheme for 2 races, which promoted the new Skittles Dips candy that was going to hit stores everywhere. The scheme carried the usual Skittles rainbow and the color red throughout parts of the racecar while carrying an interesting whitish color that appeared on the car. Unfortunately, the scheme never appeared on the racetrack after the pandemic halted the 2020 Nascar Cup Series season, and ultimately, the scheme was scrapped after the whole schedule was changed.
