Clover
Childish luck ꨄ
Although he'd left UA, Izuku still had part of him looking for some kind of luck. Walking down battered streets, Izuku saw a clover growing in the cracked concrete. What brought his attention to it was a crack in the clouds, causing a small ray of sunshine to hit it, revealing not just any clover. A four leaf clover. He walked over, crouching down and plucking it. He took the somewhat tattered mask of his, off. Finally, a small smile falling upon his lips, a childish luck hitting him.
"I wonder if you can help give me luck.."
”Mister Aizawa, What is a clover?” The silky-haired child’s head tilted at an angle to gaze up at the pro hero sitting on the bench. She hasn’t been to a park before, and could tell that Aizawa was just as puzzled by the expression on his face.
”Why do you ask?” Came the scruffy man, of course he was going to tell her regardless, he’s just been practicing back and forth conversations with her. “I heard Mister Deku talking about it LeMillion..” Eri chirped with a smile adoring her face, causing the same expression to slowly form on Aizawa’s lips as well.
”Well..it’s more of a herbal plant. It’s green, has three leaves..” His soft spoken voice causes the girl to glance down at the grass, big, red eyes scanning the blanket of grass before slipping off the bench, sitting on her hands and knees with a determined crease on her brow pulling down.
”What is it, Eri?” The tired hero mused, watching her curiously as she was shuttling through the grass, picking out small blades of grass. “I’m looking for a clover!” She piped in excitedly, causing the hero to chuckle and slowly sink to his knees, brushing his palm along the grass. “You know, there’s a clover with four leaves that would make you incredibly lucky.”
”Really?” The question sparked a sparkle in the girl’s eyes, causing her determination to double, patting her hands along the grass in search for this lucky trinket. But as Aizawa laid his sunken eyes onto the grass, he was able to spot the little four leaves. How ironic. “Eri, why don’t you look over there?” The man pointed to the area where he spotted the leaf.
A firm nod and the girl was off, giggling while a toothy smile was on her lips, the ravenette’s eyes were beginning to close to enjoy the peaceful morning, but pried them open when he heard a shrilling giggle. “Mister Aizawa! I found it!” Came from her, presenting the clover on her palms. “Very good, Eri.” Aizawa smiled fondly, humming when she pushed the clover closer to his chest. 1/2

”Here. I want you to have it, Mister Aizawa. You’ve made me lucky to be here with you, Mister Deku, LeMillion, and my friends. I want to make you lucky too.” Eri smiled sheepishly, and the hero blinked, only for a gentle smile to adorn his face. “I’m already lucky. You know why?” Aizawa asked, warning a head shake from the girl.
”Because you are my clover. Cmere kid.” Aizawa patted Eri’s head, gently bringing her closer to a loose hug as he hummed, pinching the clover between his index and thumb. 2/2
Cottage
(fantasy au izuku)
izuku and his mother inko lived in a small mushroom cottage in a quiet forest where there was little human activity. there were more animals and fauna than people and the two of them didn’t mind that. it was his complete safe haven and home.
as a young child, izuku would often play outside deep into the forest with the deers, birds, swans, ducks and even sometimes wolves. the animals loved him.
however he was forced to leave his home behind due to a strong urge of wanting to see more of the world. with bittersweet goodbyes, he left his cottage home and his mother with it.
he promised to visit.
As a child, Tomura Shigaraki wished he could live in a cottage in the woods by himself, far away from the city and the voices of disapproval from his family. It was a fantasy, that perhaps in the cottage he would be as free as a bird, able to speak his mind freely to the animals around, about having that curiosity to learn more about heroes and the stories of his grandmother.
