About

How easy is it? I'd say a pretty easy as long as you have the right tools.
What tools do you need? I personally use LogoLicious but almost any photo editor will do.
Why is it Important? Watermarks (when used correctly) can deter most art thieves (most) and show that YOU own that piece you worked hard on! :)

So here are some steps and tips to properly watermark your art.

•Don't use solid white in your background, White is really easy for an art thief to use to cover your watermark.

•Use a semi transparent water mark like the one in the picture below This allows the viewer to see ALL of your art while still keeping those pesky thieves at bay.

•using Your water mark at an angle can also make it harder to remove it if the person has a water mark remover. Example Below.

Everything Below this line is just to help your water mark look nice.

----------------------------------------------------------------

•Try out different fonts or handwriting

•play with letters. Example. Hì¥a Hôw are ü

•Don't spice it up too much. In the case art theft does occur, you want the Leader Or Curator to be able to read it.

And That's it Follow these steps and you will Look professional, Deter thieves, and show off your work.

CREDITS: Thanks to KevlarKreations over on the dank meme amino for helping me make this and providing me with some of his art.
