Yoongi Birthday Campaign

Hello, ARMY!

The birthday week for Min Yoongi has started and we are back to celebrate it in our style… with your help! We asked ARMY what cause they would like to for Yoongi’s birthday and you chose “Marginalized groups & Anti-discrimination”.

So, in March we are launching a Birthday Flash Fundraiser to Korean Unwed Mothers Families’ Association, also known as KUMFA.

KUMFA (Korean Unwed Mothers’ Families Association) is a Korean organization started by single mothers to address the issues faced by single mothers in South Korea. Their mission is to help create a society where “unwed mothers” can raise their children with respect and dignity.

KUMFA provides educational, advocacy, and counseling programs for single mothers. They hold camps for major holidays in Korea in order to provide a family environment for moms and their children during the holiday season. They also operate a number of shelters called HEATER for mothers in desperate need of residential space and emergency assistance. They also work closely with adoptee advocacy groups to help bring Korea up to the standard of the Hague Convention on the Rights of the Child.
