We made it to the end of the February love event! All good things must come to end at some point. This is my 7th and last entry, this was my first time participating in this type of event and it was a good time since I'm a sucker when it comes to love. I guess you could say I'm a hopeless romantic. Today is all about being sweet and in this case chocolatey, which is the best for all occasions. Today's topic is about making/baking sweets for Valentine's day. It's baking time!

Baking My Valentine sweets

I have to be honest, me and baking are not a good combination. That's why I hardly ever do it, we are basically enemies, it took me about 2 tries to get this done but I did! I think overall is pretty decent if I do say myself, too bad you guys can't actually have a bite but I'll give a brief description of how I made this.

Originally I was suppose to try and make a roll cake but unfortunately that didn't go as planned at all. So this was take two or three I think. Who knew it would be this difficult to make a cake. So I didn't really plan much ahead for this one, just basically I wanted to do something with hearts.

This is my attempt of making a heart shaped cake, I didn't cut it as well as I wanted so it might be a tiny bit misshapen but believe me it's super tasty! Even if this cake was torture to make especially the frosting, omg so much frosting... I'm very happy with the end result.
