that lgbt+ amino included a segment for hindi and filipino helpers/translators.
i swear a lot of people underestimate how many desis and filipinos there actually are (generally and in amino) lmao

Filipinos are like Brazilians in the sense that they are always in the most random internet corners you could think of, and you never know because they never mention their nationality unless you directly ask them, so you always end up thinking they're American or Australian because of their english...
And India is one of the biggest countries population-wise, so it just makes sense that there'd be a lot of s online too
exactly! and a lot of them don't put their flags/nationality/ethnicity in their bios so you can never really tell where they're from? but i swear we're EVERYWHERE LMAOO
and yeah! i mean a lot of people don't realise that hindi is spoken by pakistanis, indians and a large bengali population too- it's like more than 2 billion people in total? or around that much
but who knows though? maybe one day we will get an official segment in those languages :relieved:

no literally. in many events, and just different communities in general, I always see hindi and filipino. I was actually baffled when I heard that they didn't even have their own segments :sob: I love that lgbt+ is broadening and letting people actually participate in what they can be most comfortable speaking. W lgbt+ comm for doing this
